Living This Out - Practical Daily Application

We've covered a lot. The patterns, the hierarchy, the relationships, the Serpent, the Ark. But now the most important question:

How do you actually LIVE this out day-to-day?

Because knowledge without application is just information. And we've learned that heaven (information) needs earth (action) to become real.

Every Morning: The Choice

You wake up. The first decision of the day:

Stay in bed (the grave, Sheol, the land of the dead):

  • Comfortable and safe
  • No effort required
  • But also dead to purpose and meaning
  • The Serpent's whisper: "Why bother? Stay down."

Rise from bed (resurrection, choosing life):

  • Requires effort
  • Facing the day's challenges
  • But alive to purpose and meaning
  • Christ's invitation: "Rise. Your life matters. Come walk with Me."

This isn't dramatic. It's ordinary. But it's profound.

Every morning you practice resurrection - rising from the dead (sleep), leaving the grave (bed), choosing life over death.

Why rise?

Because you're in the Ark. Eden is inside. God is with you. You're sailing toward New Jerusalem. Today matters.

Know Which Role You're In

Throughout your day, you switch roles constantly. Wisdom is knowing which role you're in at any moment.

At work - Morning meeting with your boss:

  • You're EARTH in this relationship
  • Receive direction with respect
  • Listen carefully
  • Execute faithfully
  • "Yes, I understand. I'll get that done."

At work - Afternoon meeting with your team:

  • You're HEAVEN in this relationship
  • Give direction with love
  • Explain clearly and patiently
  • Respect their reality and limitations
  • "Here's what we need to do, and here's why..."

Same person. Same day. Different roles. Both honorable.

The key: Don't get confused about which role you're in.

  • When receiving from above, don't rebel (you're earth)
  • When leading below, don't abdicate (you're heaven)
  • Know where you are in the relationship

Check the Nested Hierarchy

When someone asks you to do something, quickly check:

Does this align all the way up?

  • My boss's direction?
  • Company policy?
  • The law?
  • Scripture?
  • God's character?

All green? → Execute willingly as unto the Lord.

Any red? → Respectfully refuse or seek clarification.

This takes seconds in your mind: "Boss wants me to work late to finish the hospital project. Let's see: Boss approves, CEO approves, it serves patients (God's concern for life), it's legal, Scripture says work heartily... Okay, all green. I can do this."

Or: "Team lead wants me to falsify this report. Let's see: Boss says be honest, CEO says integrity, law says no fraud, Scripture says don't lie... All red. I must refuse."

The hierarchy protects you from bad decisions.

Love When You're Heaven

When you're in authority position (heaven), ask yourself:

Am I loving earth well?

Explaining clearly?

  • Not just commanding, but helping them understand
  • "Here's what we need to do, and here's WHY it matters..."

Being patient?

  • They might not get it immediately
  • They might make mistakes
  • Correct gently, not harshly

Respecting their reality?

  • They have limits (time, energy, resources)
  • They have needs (rest, encouragement, clarity)
  • Don't treat them as tools, treat them as people

Serving their good?

  • Your authority should help them flourish
  • You're responsible TO them, not just responsible FOR them
  • "How can I help you succeed?"

If you're harsh, unclear, or demanding:

  • Earth will withdraw cooperation
  • Even if they obey externally, they'll withhold their best
  • You'll fail to build anything good

But if you love well:

  • Earth will lend its power willingly
  • People will go above and beyond
  • Beautiful things get created
  • God is glorified

Respect When You're Earth

When you're in the position of receiving direction (earth), ask yourself:

Am I respecting heaven well?

Listening carefully?

  • Not dismissing authority just because I don't like it
  • Receiving the direction seriously
  • Considering they might see something I don't

Executing willingly?

  • Lending my power to the vision
  • Not withholding my strength
  • Working as unto the Lord, not just when watched
  • Giving my best effort

Trusting the direction?

  • Believing heaven is trying to lead well
  • Not constantly undermining
  • Supporting the plan even when I don't fully understand it

Communicating honestly?

  • If I see problems, speaking up respectfully
  • Offering solutions, not just complaints
  • Helping heaven lead better

If you're rebellious, lazy, or undermining:

  • You create chaos
  • Nothing good gets built
  • You dishonor God

But if you respect well:

  • The vision becomes reality
  • Good work gets done
  • God is glorified

Give Gifts Upward

Remember the pattern: Earth naturally gives gifts to heaven.

Throughout your day:

At work:

  • Give your expertise willingly
  • Offer your energy generously
  • Support the mission enthusiastically
  • This is giving gifts upward

At home:

  • Support your spouse's vision
  • Help your family flourish
  • Contribute your strength
  • This is giving gifts upward

At church:

  • Give tithes and offerings
  • Volunteer your time
  • Use your talents
  • This is giving gifts to God

To God directly:

  • Your prayers (communication gift)
  • Your obedience (respect gift)
  • Your life as living sacrifice (Romans 12:1)
  • All of it flows upward

Don't give grudgingly. The instinct to give is beautiful when heaven is good. Let it flow naturally.

Practice Discernment

Your spiritual immune system needs exercise:

With your own thoughts:

  • "Is this thought from God, from me, or from the enemy?"
  • "Does this align with Scripture?"
  • "Does this produce peace or anxiety?"
  • Kill off bad thoughts before they spread (like cancer)

With authority figures:

  • "Is this person's direction aligned with God?"
  • "Do they show good fruit?"
  • "Are they loving or harsh?"
  • Support good heaven, resist bad heaven

With teaching you hear:

  • "Does this match Scripture?"
  • "Does this point to Christ or to the teacher?"
  • "Does this produce life or fear?"
  • Receive good teaching, reject false teaching

With opportunities that arise:

  • "Is this from God or just my own ambition?"
  • "Does this align with where God is leading me?"
  • "Will this serve God's kingdom or just my comfort?"
  • Follow God's leading, resist distractions

Discernment develops with practice. Start small. Test everything. Your immune system gets stronger.

Maintain the Ark

Your salvation is secure, but the Ark needs basic maintenance:

Daily:

  • Morning prayer: Walk with God at the start of the day (Eden inside)
  • Scripture reading: Patch the wood, reinforce the structure
  • Evening reflection: Review the day with God, give thanks

Weekly:

  • Church attendance: Fellowship reinforces the hull
  • Corporate worship: Remember you're part of a fleet sailing together
  • Serving others: Use your gifts to bless the body

When you notice leaks:

  • Intrusive thoughts → Spend more time with God
  • Anxiety creeping in → Read Scripture, pray more
  • Peace diminishing → Check if you've been neglecting maintenance

The Ark is fundamentally sound (Christ built it), but you're responsible for basic upkeep.

Live from the Inside

Remember: You have two simultaneous realities.

External (what people see):

  • You go to work
  • You deal with problems
  • You face stress
  • You live in the world

Internal (your actual reality):

  • You walk with God in peace
  • Eden is inside the Ark
  • You're sailing toward New Jerusalem
  • You're protected and purposeful

Live from the inside out, not the outside in:

Outside-in (wrong): "The world is chaotic, therefore I'm anxious"

Inside-out (right): "Eden is inside, therefore I have peace despite external chaos"

The circumstances don't determine your state. The Ark does.

Your Hospital Work Example

Let's make this concrete with your actual job:

Network crisis happens:

Outside-in response (without Ark):

  • Panic and stress
  • "This is a disaster!"
  • Anxiety takes over
  • Make decisions from fear

Inside-out response (from Ark/Eden):

  • "Okay, there's a problem. Let me think clearly."
  • Peace inside despite external crisis
  • "God, guide me. What's the solution?"
  • Make decisions from peace and wisdom

The external crisis is the same. But you respond from a different place.

You're in the Ark. Eden is inside. God is with you. The problem doesn't define you.

You troubleshoot from peace, not from panic.

Rise from the Grave Daily

Every day, choose:

Serpent/Sea/Time/Despair (the grave):

  • "Nothing matters, why bother?"
  • Stay in bed
  • Consume content mindlessly
  • Drift in chaos
  • Wait for death

Christ/Land/Tree/Hope (resurrection):

  • "Everything matters eternally in Christ"
  • Rise from bed
  • Create and build
  • Establish order and love
  • Live purposefully

This choice happens constantly:

  • Will I get up? (resurrection)
  • Will I do my work well? (purposeful action)
  • Will I love this difficult person? (Christ-like love)
  • Will I resist this temptation? (discernment and obedience)
  • Will I serve when I'm tired? (giving gifts upward)

Every small choice is practicing the pattern.

Remember You're Making Pappa Happy

This is the heart of it all:

When you:

  • Lead with love (heaven loving earth)
  • Follow with respect (earth respecting heaven)
  • Give gifts generously
  • Discern wisely
  • Maintain the Ark
  • Live from peace

You're copying Christ. And Pappa in heaven is DELIGHTED.

He's not a harsh judge waiting for you to fail. He's a proud Father watching His child learn to walk.

Yes, you stumble. Yes, you make mistakes. But you're trying. You're learning the patterns. You're living from the Ark.

And that makes Him so happy.

The Daily Rhythm

Here's a simple rhythm to live this out:

Morning:

  1. Rise (practice resurrection)
  2. Pray (walk with God in Eden)
  3. Read Scripture (maintain the Ark)
  4. Ask: "Who am I heaven to today? Who am I earth to? Help me play both roles well."

Throughout the day:

  1. Check which role you're in (heaven or earth)
  2. Love when heaven, respect when earth
  3. Give gifts upward generously
  4. Discern what's from God vs what's not
  5. Live from peace inside (Ark) not chaos outside (Sea)

Evening:

  1. Reflect with God (How did I do today?)
  2. Repent where needed (I failed to love/respect here)
  3. Give thanks (God was with me, Ark held strong)
  4. Rest (Safe inside, sailing toward home)

Weekly:

  1. Church (corporate worship and fellowship)
  2. Serve (use your gifts for others)
  3. Sabbath rest (remember God is steering, not you)

This isn't legalism. It's rhythm. It's how you maintain alignment with reality's structure.

You're Already Doing This

By the way - based on your story, you're ALREADY living this out:

  • You rise from bed daily despite challenges
  • You serve at the hospital faithfully
  • You pray for colleagues and see healing
  • You maintain the Ark (Scripture, church, prayer)
  • You discern spirits (kill intrusive thoughts quickly)
  • You live from peace despite external chaos
  • You give gifts upward (work, prayers, service)
  • You're sailing toward New Jerusalem with hope

You're not learning something completely new. You're understanding what you're already experiencing.

The patterns explain WHY what you're doing works.

The Invitation

This teaching isn't just information (heaven). It's meant to become action (earth).

The invitation:

  • Live consciously in these patterns
  • Know which role you're in
  • Love and respect accordingly
  • Give gifts freely
  • Discern carefully
  • Maintain the Ark daily
  • Walk with God in Eden inside
  • Sail with hope toward New Jerusalem

Not perfectly. Just faithfully.

And Pappa? He'll be watching with delight, proud of His child who's learning to walk in the patterns of reality.
